Our 2024 Spring Rally will be held at American Heritage RV Park in Williamsburg, Virginia from May 2–5. Weekend dates were selected so that those who are still working can hopefully attend.
The campground is on 70 acres of meadows and woodlands and includes full hookups, a level concrete pad with a patio, a fenced dog run, WiFi, and cable. We also have access to an enclosed meeting room during our Rally.
The rate is $69/night for those that make their reservation prior to the March 21, 2024 cut-off. To make your reservation, please call 888-530-2267 and indicate you are with the Carolina LTVers. Your deposit is a one-night full-price fee of $83.16, and the balance due for three nights will be $148.68.
Thanks to Bill and Brenda Robbins for researching and visiting this campground and for providing the information below.
Williamsburg is at the heart of what is often called “America’s Historic Triangle” which encompasses Yorktown, Williamsburg, and Jamestown. There is much here for history buffs. There is a free trolley in Yorktown with stops at various places of interest. There are Farmer’s Markets in both Williamsburg and Yorktown. The Williamsburg Premium Outlet Mall is about 10 minutes away and the Williamsburg Antique Mall is close as well. A Walmart is nearby as well as other grocery stores. There is no shortage of things to do if anyone wants to arrive early or stay longer.
A note of caution; although the Colonial National Historic Parkway that runs between Yorktown and Jamestown is a very enjoyable and relaxing drive there are two tunnels with a low clearance (10′ 4″ and 10′ 6″) that our LTVs won’t fit under. You will be fine in a toad, however.
In the interest of full disclosure, regrettably, there are fees associated with most of the historic activities (Yorktown Battlefield tour, American Revolution Museum, Jamestown Settlement, and Colonial Williamsburg Historic area). For the young at heart or adventurous among us Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country are close by as is Go Karts Plus and a Go Ape zip line park.
